Prior to returning to Kentucky, Ms. Hary made her home in the western U.S. performing such roles as Desiree’ in A Little Night Music, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Lady Croom in Arcadia. She completed her M.F.A. in Acting at the University of Montana in 1998.

Douglas A. Hary, (Lord Capulet, Friar John, Romeo & Juliet; Orsino, Twelfth Night) is pleased to continue his acting career this summer with Kentucky Shakespeare Festival. The lure of a beautiful woman named Carolan drew him to Kentucky from Big Sky Country, Montana, where he was touring with the Montana Repertory Theatre. Doug’s acting career has taken him from West Coast to East, but he seems to have found a home in Kentucky with this wonderful company. He tours throughout the year in Shakespeare Alive!. Some of his professional credits include: Charles (Blithe Spirit), Quince (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Sky Masterson (Guys & Dolls), Curly (Oklahoma!), Rowley (School For Scandal), Jean (Miss Julie) and Danforth (The Crucible). Love to my Jezabelle.

Christian Wijnberg, (Benvolio, Romeo & Juliet; Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Sea Captain, Twelfth Night) returns for his second season with Kentucky Shakespeare Festival. Last year, he was in the educational outreach tour Shakespeare Alive! but was prevented from performing in The Taming of the Shrew when he took the actors’ adage “break a leg” too literally.
