Thanks to our Sponsors!

Kentucky Shakespeare Festival has been a tradition in the Louisville community for forty years with our summer productions in Central Park, and holds national recognition as the oldest FREE Shakespeare Festival in North America. Having served over half a million people, Kentucky Shakespeare Festival is committed to providing FREE, accessible, professional, classical theatre and quality educational programming not only for the Louisville community but the state at large. In fact, as the state Shakespeare Festival, we are the only professional arts organization in the Commonwealth to have served students in every county in Kentucky! How’s that for being a leader in one’s field?

Like your company, Kentucky Shakespeare Festival is a vibrant organization, always seeking opportunities for growth. Partnership is the key to our mutual success. By supporting either our summer season or our touring educational outreach programming, your company will maintain high corporate visibility and further enhance the quality of life in our community.

We invite you to join us in giving the gift of Shakespeare.

J.J. Cobb (Kate) is very pleased to be making her Festival debut. Though a native Hawaiian, she has spent most of her career on the mainland and received her M.F.A. from the the University of of Arizona. She rarely strays far from her favorite character categories–“witches, queens, and crazy women”. Past favorites include Queen Margaret (Richard III), Solange (The Maids), Clytemnestra (Electra), Maria (Lend Me a Tenor) and Madame Defarge (A Tale of Two Cities). Ms. Cobb is also a founding member of the female performance troupe “Quatra”.
