The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival has year-round volunteer opportunities! The Festival relies on community support to provide FREE Shakespeare each summer in Louisville's Central Park. As we approach a new millenium, arts organizations face new challenges including finding more ways of involving their community. The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival welcomes this challenge and invites you to get involved now!
	Volunteer opportunities include: Summer Season - Ushering, gift sales, concession sales, office assistance. Special Events - Parades, telethons, manning KSF booth space Year-round - above activities plus office related assistance, etc.	Reasons to volunteer: We Need You! It's Fun! You'll make new friends! It's an opportunity to be creative! It develops new skills and experiences! You'll learn about the community! You'll be a resource! You'll support your local arts!
	Leadership Opportunities In order to more fully develop volunteer efforts, the Festival is creating the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Coordinator of Will's Pals. Officers must be year-round volunteers and able to meet once a month throughout the year. If you would be interested in being an officer on the volunteer committee, please indicate the position that interests you most. President - will lead meetings and discussions for volunteer activities; serve as liaison between office staff and the committee Vice President - assist the President in conducting & coordinating meetings Secretary - will document volunteer activities and take meeting minutes, submit quarterly reports for FoolsCap, the Festival newsletter Treasurer - will collect and track volunteer fund raising revenues and report to the Festival staff Coordinator - will head volunteer efforts with scheduling for events For more information, contact Celeste Santamassino at 502/ 583-8738.
