AGE RANGE: 4th grade – 12th grade MAXIMUM AUDIENCE: 100 students This 50–minute, two–actor, interactive performance workshop is designed to entertain and engage students while helping teachers to achieve KERA goals. Age–appropriate workshops are tailored to meet the specific needs of elementary, middle and high school students. Three scenes are linked thematically, allowing students to discover the accessibility of Shakespeare and explore the complexity of human emotions. AGE RANGE: 4th grade – 12th grade MAXIMUM AUDIENCE: 100 students This 50–minute, one–actor, interactive performance workshop features monologues and songs from a variety of plays including Hamlet, Twelfth Night, The Merchant of Venice, Henry IV, i, A Midsummer’s Night Dream, As You Like it, Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Winter’s Tale, Henry V, The Taming of the Shrew, and The Tempest. The performance depicts many of Shakespeare’s funniest, yet most profound characters. Adults and students alike will be enchanted by the wit and wisdom of these clowns and jesters.

AGE RANGE: 4th grade – 12th grade MAXIMUM # OF PARTICIPANTS: 30 students In this 50–minute, interactive performance workshop is an excellent way to access kinesthetic and verbal learners. Each workshop can be formatted to meet your students’ experience or skill–level in one of two formats. The Introductory–level workshop introduces students to the basics of performance, using warm–up techniques and choral readings of Shakespeare’s scenes. In the Advanced–level workshop, students build upon preparatory work supplied in the accompanying study guide to interpret and stage a scene from a selected play.
